Building Bridges Commercial Mediation

Who’s eligible for BBC Mediation?

You are a candidate for Mediation if:

  • You have a dispute with another party which is not yet in litigation. The  relationship or business or project can still be repaired if both sides are willing.
  • You have a contract which designates a  Mediator or Dispute Resolution Officer but wish to try an outside neutral mediator instead.
  • You can either be represented by an attorney or not. If you are not represented by  an attorney, Robert will reach out to the other side for you to get the process started as part of the “First Contact” process.
  • You have been in a lawsuit for a prolonged period of time and you feel that you  need to try a new method to resolve the matter. You will appear with your legal representative, as an alternative to the continuation of the lawsuit. If Mediation fails, you can resume your lawsuit. You control the disclosure of information and the outcome.
  •  You have a workplace dispute that you can’t resolve by yourself, but you want to try to resolve the issue before it becomes unmanageable.
  • The emphasis is on engineering, architectural, construction, corporate governance and commercial business matters. Other disputes may be addressed at BBC Mediation as well.
  • On call phone translation services available for approximately 250 languages and dialects.
